Guidelines
Treatments for NETs are rapidly evolving. Several clinical practice guidelines, which are regularly updated by multidisciplinary teams made up of international experts, are available for NET specialists. These guidelines provide key recommendations on diagnosing and managing NETs and help your care team decide on the best options for you.
In the US, the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) has developed consensus guidelines for NETs. NANETS also publishes joint guidelines with the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). In the EU, clinical guidelines for NETs are developed by the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).
